A mirror sometimes is not a reflection of who you are, but how you see yourself.

I love hair day. Hair day for me is the visit to the salon when I get to feel special, pampered and yes, loved. Where I get to sit while someone sprinkles fairy dust upon my hair to amplify its beauty. It doesn’t hurt that I also get to enjoy 1 or 2 glasses of a lovely wine while I am patiently waiting for my fairy dust to be activated.

PSA to all of you in reader land. Self Care and indulging in beauty is a real and completely necessary thing. We must experience this delightful me time. The rest of your schedule can be for others, but I promise you will be a much more joyful giver when you give to you, too!

I’ll never forget the day I was sitting at the hair salon surrounded by so many mirrors. While glancing around the room my eyes fixated upon the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Who is she? She must be “somebody” I thought to my myself. A news anchor new to town, I wondered? My eyes fixated on her as I studied her because she was so elegant and regal.
