Take a shower. Wash away every trace of yesterday. Of smells. Of energy that didn’t serve you. Of words you wish you would’ve hushed. Of weary skin and tired and swollen eyes.
Get dressed. Make coffee, lots of coffee. Open your windows and invite the sunshine and breeze in to embrace you. Hold your coffee cup with both hands and notice the feeling of warmth.
