Life, much like climbing the towering peaks of Mt. Everest or Mt. Kilimanjaro, is an arduous journey filled with challenges, breathtaking views, and crucial decisions. Relationships, too, share this parallel, requiring us to establish base camps, evaluate our needs, and decide who continues the climb alongside us. Just as we reassess our gear and provisions on the mountainside, we must periodically evaluate our connections, determining if they are still an integral part of our journey or if it’s time to cut ties.

In the realm of climbing, base camps are essential resting points that provide a foundation for further ascent. Similarly, in life and relationships, we encounter base camps — milestones that prompt reflection on our progress and the individuals accompanying us. These junctures allow us to evaluate our needs, both emotionally and practically, and make necessary adjustments before continuing the ascent.

Evaluating Relationships:
